Ingredients
- 1 & 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 2 & 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups water
Instructions
- Using a bread machine, dump ingredients in the bread maker pan
- Place the pan in the bread maker, close the lid, and select “dough”
- Press the Start button. Takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes
- Preheat oven to 450 °F; punch dough down
- Sprinkle semolina flour on a baking stone
- Press dough into a circle on the baking stone
- Form a thick ridge around the edge (to hold topping)
- Prick the surface of the dough thoroughly with a fork
- Par bake the crust for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned
- Add your favorite toppings and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until crust is crisp and cheese is lightly brown and bubbly through to the center
