Many years ago I met my husband’s grandfather Pa (Tom) Brien. He gave us this table for a housewarming gift when we bought our first house in Massachusetts where we got married.

Pa was a butcher by trade. A gentleman. A story teller. He passed away a few years ago. Every time we share this table with friends or family, I feel his kind, witty energy. I can only hope to leave that kind of legacy at a table.
