Mustard Sauce

This sauce is great with corned beef, pork chops, and any veggies you’d serve with them such as green beans or root veggies.


  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons mustard powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water


  1. Combine all ingredients, except cornstarch and water, in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  2. Dissolve cornstarch in water. Blend in and cook until sauce clears and thickens..
