I’m a proud, card-carrying member of the Austin Food Blogger’s Alliance, and this annual event raises funds for our community-based activities for the year.

This year is my first year as a competitor, and I’m in it to win it.

That being said, it is free to enter the competition, and we would all be honored to have you do so.

If you’re not up for bringing seven quarts of your killer curry to serve up to a curry-obsessed Austin community…come eat! You can sample every last curry from every region imaginable for $20 advance ticket purchase, or $25 at the door.

For those who purchase in advance and also arrive within the first 50 at the door you also get a SWAG bag that is frankly amazing. The sponsors include so many great local Austin businesses and Uchi/Uchiko generously added $25 gift cards to EVERY SWAG BAG. Rad. So you kinda get two culinary experiences for the price of one…and I’m loose on my math here, but is there a $5 profit somehow in there?

I’ve been testing batches of my “super secret concept” curry for weeks now, and am so excited to get this nailed down. Austin Food Blogger Alliance is instrumental in helping me secure a sense of community here, as I’ve moved a lot over the years. Finding that crew that does right by our members, our community and our dedication to making Austin amazing has been a true honor and pleasure.
