Starting this weekend, The Pour House Pints & Pies on Jollyville road will start slinging their new brunch menu from 11 am to 3 pm. Notable options include “Pour Mans Tacos” with a variety of fillings, a pecan crusted, maple and sriracha honey Chicken & Waffles, and a few other intriguing-looking brunchy lunchy dishes.
The Pour House has a great outdoor patio for those who can hang with the heat, and the cost for drinks and the extensive beer selection is always set at happy hour prices. I head over a couple times a week in the afternoon to read and research with a cold beer, as that patio is irresistible every time I drive by.
The staff remembers what I like and they suggest seasonal beers based on my preferences. If you don’t head over for the new brunch, you’ll find something on the regular menu that you’ll like. My faves are the fried pickles (wait a few minutes or you WILL burn your tongue), The Shroom Pizza, and the hummus appetizer.
See you on Sunday Funday at The Pour House for Brunch!
