Snap Cook: French Onion Soup

Easy French Onion Soup. Snapshots of this recipe (available in “The Soup Pot” HERE) as demonstrated in my home kitchen. Easy and delicious!

Butter, Onions and Thyme simmer for about 45 minutes.
At about 45 minutes, the onions are soft and the broth is starting to form.
Flour goes in for about two minutes.
Add dry white wine and simmer 15 minutes to cook out the alcohol.
Add beef broth, water, salt & pepper.
Simmer 45 minutes. Meanwhile prepare crocks on cookie sheet. Fill crocks with soup, top with dry baguette toast and swiss cheese. Broil till cheese is bubbly. Serve hot!
