In March, while visiting Portland, Oregon, I visited the ever-interesting super eclectic and fun Voodoo Donuts. Before moving forward, I should mention that the donuts absolutely do not disappoint. Not only are they the good kind of insane, but they taste great. Voodoo Donuts has locations in Portland, Oregon and Denver, Colorado. I learned while at the shop (from the super friendly staff who allowed me to take a gazillion photos) that they’re opening one in AUSTIN, TEXAS!!! Hey! That’s where I live! I will allow the photos to speak for themselves. Note the pink boxes. If you’re ever in the Portland airport, have a look around. You’ll see people carrying those boxes on with them. Yep. It is a “thing”. 

This is the donut I brought home to Austin for my husband. The Bacon Maple Bar. Yes It is a real thing.
