I love my many mini cutting boards. I reach for them just about every time I’m in the kitchen. They’re kind of a stumble upon tool, as I bought the first set of five when I lived in a one-bedroom apartment in Los Angeles and didn’t have much counter space. Then I bought a set for my now-husband when we started spending time cooking together in our two apartments. We’ve lived together for years, and frankly nobody suggests getting rid of a single one of them. I will happily add a link to something similar when and if I find it. In the mean time, I recommend finding a very basic bar-size cutting board and collecting a set. Something you can hand-wash, toss in the dishwasher, and find a thousand uses for. These little beasts make life easy in my kitchen no matter where I’ve lived.
